Mr. Ables has led major design and development projects, and partnered with global industry leaders to introduce new dimensions of sensitivity and performance to consumer products and medical devices thru the use of high-end sensing technologies. As CTO of Medical Tactile, Mr. Ables directs the technical development of SureTouch as well as its product training and support. A former Teach for America Corps Member, Mr. Ables also consulted for Arthur D. Little, Inc., fluid mechanics research at Harvard, and rapid prototyping research at MIT. He holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and A.B. in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University where he graduated Magna cum laude.
Responsible for the overall financial management of the company, its financial reporting and transparency, and for multiple corporate functions including controller, investor relations, long-range planning and strategic development. During his tenure in Medical Tactile, Mr. Yered played a key role in raising private investments as well as government & strategic grants of over $1M. Mr. Yered is an officer in the Israeli army and holds an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson, where he graduated as member of the Dean’s List. He also holds a B.S.C. in Computer Engineering from the Hebrew university.
